Easter Bunny Chow

This delicious, easy dessert is the perfect addition to your Easter plans! The fun part about this recipe is that you will start with the base and you can add in any sweet treat you’d like to your mixture. On top of that, this recipe can be made year round with different mix-ins for events or holidays.

  • Rice Chex
  • Chocolate Chips
  • Butter
  • Peanut Butter
  • Powdered Sugar
  • Bunny / Teddy Grahams
  • M&M’s
  • Optional: Sprinkles
  • Your choice of extra mix-ins

Easter Bunny Chow

Course Dessert, Snack

Ingredients
  

  • 8 cups rice chex
  • 12 oz chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 6 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup bunny grahams
  • 1 cup M&M's spring colors
  • 2 cups powdered sugar

Instructions
 

  • Add rice chex to a large bowl and set aside.
  • On medium heat, add butter to a pot. When softened, add peanut butter and chocolate chips.
  • Stir mixture continuously until creamy before removing from heat and pouring over Chex.
  • Mix until the Chex are evenly coated.
  • Separate Chex mixture into 2 gallon size bags, adding half the powdered sugar to each one. Shake to coat.
  • Lay powdered sugar coated chex in an even layer on wax or parchment paper to cool for ~20 minutes.
  • Once cooled, transfer to a large bowl and add in remaining ingredients. Optional: top with sprinkles.

Notes

-Optional mix ins: marshmallows, mini Reese’s eggs, Cadbury eggs, mini pretzels, cheerios.
