WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- Pasta
- Ground Italian sausage
- Zucchini
- Onion
- Pasta Sauce
RECIPE VARIATIONS
- Pasta: We used penne, use your preference!
- Sausage: Ground sweet Italian! Could absolutely use hot & spicy if you like that.
- Veggies: Zucchini & onion add great flavor, swap or add in whatever you like!
- Pasta sauce: We’re a Rao’s family & think it’s the best!!
Italian Sausage & Veggie Pasta
An easy 5 ingredient dinner that the whole family will love. Perfect for those busy week nights or as an easy make-ahead meal prep option!
- 4 oz uncooked pasta
- 1 lb ground Italian sausage
- 1 zucchini chopped
- 1 onion chopped
- 1 cup pasta sauce
Cook pasta & drain.
Saute zucchini and onion until soft. Move vegetables to outer edge of pan and add ground Italian sausage to the middle.
When sausage is finished cooking, add pasta and red sauce to pan and mix.
Optional: top with parmesan.
